Who We Are – Amillion Ways To Empower T1D
Amillion Ways To Empower T1D is a nonprofit organization born from a mother’s mission to turn pain into purpose after her daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.
We believe awareness is the first step toward saving lives—especially in underserved communities where symptoms often go unrecognized. Through powerful storytelling, youth engagement, and educational tools, we empower families, teens, and educators to understand the early signs of T1D and take action.
At the heart of our movement are Milly & Rio—a brave young girl and her loyal pup—who guide children, families, and classrooms through colorful stories that make T1D education relatable and easy to understand.
We’re not just raising awareness—we’re building a community of empowered advocates, one conversation, one classroom, and one child at a time.
